Assistant estimator

Russell Taylor Group are pleased to be working on behalf of our client based in Chelmsford. An established Groundworks Contractor working with Private and Public sector. Who are now recruiting for a full time Assistant Estimator. Salary pending experience GBP24 - GBP40K. Experienced Assistant Estimator - Chelmsford Industry - Construction Groundworks The ideal candidate will come from a Civils/ Groundworks background, expected to undertake the following duties: Role Responsibilities: bull; Material Valuation bull; Managing and gathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers bull; Work closely with the estimating team. bull; Input measurements, specifications, and generating comprehensive quotes. bull; Analysing variables to determine cost and estimates. bull; Collecting data on cost to enhance accuracy and efficiency. As the Assistant Estimator the position requires you to have the following bull; Graduate in Construction related degree or Estimating Experience of 1 year + bull; Numerical skills to ensure precise estimations. bull; Good people skills as you will be engaging with all levels of staff. bull; Ability to showcase your previous experience in a similar role.
