We are looking for a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis: Key Responsibilities Provide maintenance support (Including Installation, planned, preventive and reactive maintenance) in relation to site services, plant/equipment. AHU, FCU and mechanical servicing/maintenance, to include pump seals, bearings and alignment. Form part of the on-call rota within the Maintenance Team. Seasonal shift pattern (some weekends/evenings) Prioritisation of work programme to satisfy business needs. Ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level. Fault finding, diagnosis and repairs. Oversee the conduct of contractors on site, monitoring the implementation and performance of tasks allocated. Deliver specialist technical support and services in relation to building plant/equipment. Ensure robust application of health, safety and environmental procedures and processes. Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality. Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures. Any other duties as and when required.Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities #x200B; Engineering/Technical qualification (Apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 in a relevant discipline i.e. mechanical/plumbing/HVAC AHU, FCU and mechanical servicing/maintenance, to include pump seals, bearings and alignment. The candidate should be able to write reports/jobs sheets either manually or electronically Experience in Building Services Good knowledge and level of competency in other areas of building services (BMS, Electrical) Full clean driving licencePersonal Attributes Highly conscientious, reliable and punctual.
