Electrical engineering technician

Your World Recruitment is currently supporting a Private Healthcare organisation based in Chertsey with the recruitment of an Electrical Engineering Technician required to Complete work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, specialist sub-contracts, remedial tasks and provide routine and specialised engineering maintenance, and breakdown support. Electrical Engineering Technician Sector: Private Healthcare Location: Chertsey Environment: Hospital Job Type: Permanent Salary: Up to GBP36,000 (however, this may be negotiable based on experience and qualifications) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible shifts between 6 am and 8 pm Parking: Free onsite Benefits: Private Medical Insurance Private Pension Scheme 25 days holiday (increasing to 30 days) Enhanced Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption Leave Employee Referral Scheme Learning and development opportunities, including free courses and recognised qualifications Friends and Family Hospital Discounts Wellbeing resources and support Life Insurance Additional benefits Key Responsibilities: * Complete work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, specialist sub-contracts, and remedial tasks promptly. * Provide routine and specialized engineering maintenance and breakdown support. * Offer technical, health, safety, and environmental support, ensuring adherence to company policies. * Train, mentor, and assist site-based technicians and engineering assistants. * Advise local hospital managers on engineering matters. * Foster a culture of exemplary engineering standards and integrity. * Develop a strong team ethos, cover engineering absences, and provide specialist advice where required. Skills, Experience Qualifications: * Current CSCS Card. * Current ECS Card if electrically qualified. * City Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. * Time served apprenticeship in an electrical discipline. * Willingness to act as AP and RP Medgas. * High-level organisation, time management, fault-finding techniques, and ability to read drawings. * Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines, statutes, ACOPs, and L8 Legionella ACOP within hospital buildings. * Competent in using a PC and related software/systems.
