Junior Document Controller A rare opening for a Junior Document Controller to join an established regional contractor in Hertfordshire who operate in the Education, Healthcare, Commercial, and Mixed-Use sectors. They are small enough to be friendly and personable and large enough to offer you structure and progression They work on general contracting schemes up to around GBP20m Extremely low staff turnover Solid and skilled Design team Strong client base/ lots of repeat business Modern/ refurbished offices Benefits: * Salary GBP24-30,000 plus the below benefits * Annual holiday allowance of 25 days (5 of these are pre-reserved for Christmas shut down). An additional days holiday is awarded after 5, 7 10 years rsquo; service up to a maximum of 28 days. * Pension * All professional membership subscriptions and training are covered. * Annual free health checks and flu jabs. * Employee Assistance Programme with mental health and well being support. * Eye tests and glasses paid for when regularly using a computer screen. * Regular pay reviews * Continued career progression The role: Junior Document Controller You will be trained by a Senior Document Controller who has been with the company for a number of years, and will assist with: * Managing all aspects of document control; developing and implementing strategies; * Undertake regular site drawings audits followed up by formal report detailing score, findings and corrective actions. * Processes and procedures to manage documents effectively in line with business requirements. * Receive, process, control and coordinate documentation in line with processes and procedures. * Manage and maintain tender information on document management systems. * Collate circulate weekly reports detailing outstanding approval processes and status C (rejected) information. * Overhead management for document management systems and printing consumables Working hours 8.30 - 5 with 1 hour for lunch The right person - Junior Document Controller - Hertfordshire You will ideally have 2 years plus experience working as a Junior Document Controller in the construction industry Self-directed and highly-motivated Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment Able to work as part of a team Junior Document Controller / Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire / Cambridgeshire / Stevenage
