Field support technician

Field Support Technician Northampton Permanent To GBP30,000 (DOE) + Benefits Field Support Technician wanted for a permanent position working with an established local business. Start asap, ideally in May/ June 2024. Hybrid working with the expectation of 3 days/week on site visits, 1 day/week working from home and 1 day/week at head office in Derby. The option between a GBP4,500 a year car allowance (+ milage) in place of a company vehicle is avilable. Key skills, experience duties include: Perform regular site visits as an extension of the service desk team, assisting with break/fix issues, project work and setting up new equipment. Providing 1st / 2nd Line Technical Support with the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment. On-Site Installation, Repair, and Maintenance, Diagnosing Errors and Technical Problems This position will cover the Central to Southern office areas, such as Cambridge, Coventry, Reading. The ideal candidate has a broad technical support background, highly experienced with the ability to work proficiently unsupervised. Always maintain excellent levels of customer service. Proven field service experience with a full UK Drivers rsquo; licence. Company car (or car allowance) options avilable
