Multi skilled maintenance engineer

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting: We are looking for Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers (Electrical/Mechanical) for permanent positions in Sheffield. Salary is GBP40,814.80 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) As an experienced Mechanical/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will work against our client #39;s planned maintenance schedule to ensure machinery, equipment and facilities are at the best possible standard which is line with their continuous improvement plan. You will achieve reductions in downtime through planned and reactive maintenance by analysing major breakdowns, carrying out root cause analysis and putting solutions in place to prevent machinery/process issues reoccurring. Key Responsibilities Maintain all plant and equipment within the business areas at site. Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and complete follow up actions and issues of concern. Equipment and Facilities breakdowns and corrective actions, to minimise downtime. New project implementation and equipment installation support. Equipment condition appraisal, refurbishment, and continuous improvement activity implementation. Responsible for completing and maintaining accurate, timely documentation, records, and reporting. Work closely with the Head of Maintenance to ensure the planning of maintenance work within the department is conducted correctly. Contribute and drive a continuous improvement culture within their department. Knowledge of CMMS system.This list is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake any other duties that may reasonable be considered appropriate to your role/level. Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Maintenance qualification. Experience in Tool Room CNC machinery ideally with Heidenhain and Fanuc operating systems Multi-skilled maintenance qualification is an advantage. Experience of PLC fault-finding, DC Motor controls and 3 phase electrical equipment. In depth knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace. Engineering knowledge rooted in strong maintenance principles and failure prevention.
