Youth support worker

Youth Support Worker Tradewind Recruitment are seeking experienced Youth Support Workers to take on the role of a Teaching Assistant in SEND Schools in Liverpool. The role will require you to support children with SEMH or SEND needs who struggle to regulate their emotions. As a Youth Support Worker, you will have a number of transferable skills and experience that will provide a unique skill set to support children with additional needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to students with SEND. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons. Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse learning needs. Offering emotional and behavioural support to students. Working closely with teachers and staff to implement Educational Health Care Plans. Requirements: A passion for working with children and young people with SEND. Previous experience in a similar role. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
