Production supervisor

Job Title: Production Supervisor Location: Hoddesdon Pay: GBP28k per year / Permanent Hours: Monday ndash; Friday 40 hour flexi time (choose your hours) Our client is looking for a Production Supervisor, your role will be preparing fresh batches of drinks, hands on, weighing, lifting and blending before filling the jars and packaging through a semi-automatic filling line. Job Description: middot; Producing numerous recipes to a weekly schedule in a hands-on drink kitchen middot; Measuring accurately weighing wet and dry ingredients middot; Lifting over 20kg middot; Cleaning, numerous cleaning chemicals alongside PPE on shift across all equipment middot; Filling and capping, supervising a 1000 bottle / per hour semi automatic production line middot; Team working along side a tight team of 2 ndash; 3 in the kitchen middot; Packaging, labeling and case building middot; Flexibility, helping when called upon in other departments middot; Improving, by asking why and spotting areas of improvements middot; Attention to detail, repeatably crossing the Ts and dotting the Is across all tasks middot; Recipe sheets, infilling timely and accurately middot; Food safety standards, enforcing high level of standards to EHO SALSA accreditation middot; CCP enforcing standards on every batch middot; Enforcing high level of standards to EHO SALSA accreditation Skills Required: middot; Leading and management ndash; shift running in the absence of the production manager middot; Batch running, ensuring all process is adhered to every batch middot; Minimum 1 year in a similar role middot; Clean as you go mentally middot; Organised, positive and hardworking middot; Experience with soft drinks manufacturer middot; Knowledge of EHO SALSA food safety systems middot; Self initiative Benefits: middot; 28k plus annual company profit share middot; 20 days holidays plus bank holidays / paid Christmas close middot; Flexi time ndash; choose your hours middot; One charity day a year middot; Monday ndash; Friday middot; Monthly gym reimbursement middot; The opportunity to develop into future roles as we continue to grow at pace middot; 30 mins daily paid lunch break middot; Access to company pension scheme Thank you for your interest in this vacancy, which is being advertised by Smart10 Recruitment Group, who are acting as an employment agency / business.
