Job Title: Deputy Manager Location: Fulwood, Preston, PR2 Pay rate: GBP34,944 per annum Job Type: Full-time, permanent Shift and schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day Priority Recruitment are excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Deputy Manager in a children rsquo;s residential home in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and support a team looking after a group of young people aged 8-18 who have behavioural and emotional issues. We are searching for an experienced Deputy Manager with a minimum of Level 4 Young People and Family Practitioner qualification who shares our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn rsquo;t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Please note that full driving license is required for this role. Salary Benefits: Competitive salary: GBP34,994 per annum with available overtime. External and online certified courses. Client and Role: Our client has a brand new children rsquo;s residential home with residents aged 8-18 who have behavioural and emotional issues. The aim of the home is to help the residents develop and maintain the necessary social and living skills to enjoy a fulfilling life whilst ensuring their physical and emotional care needs are also met. The role includes acting as leader, role model and co-ordinator of shifts and fully deputising for the Registered Home Manager in their absence. Leading and inspiring a staff team and take responsibility of their training, development, supervisions, and rotas. Being a positive role model to the children and young people. Delivering the Children rsquo;s Standards in the home. Successful Applicant: Must have previous supervisory experience in a residential childcare setting. Full UK driving license is required.
