Assistant planning production manager

Work Activities: * Working collaboratively with Commercial, Technical, Production and QC Teams on a day to day basis. * Communication of customer requirements across all levels of SHP. Mango and any other agreed products. * Constantly assessing and ensuring that all product is packed according to customer specification. * Supporting the Planning and Product Manager to better understand the customer requirements and deliver on SHP strategy * High awareness and occasional fruit intake assessment * Sampling of product to customer. * Work closely with Technical/Commercial to ensure correct specification of stock is allocated to the customer. * Assisting the flow of material within the business from intake, through the stock system, to the end product. * To allocate the required amount of material to the ripening team. * Creating consignments and entering invoices into Rubicon. * Providing cover for the weekend commercial rota (WFH). * Providing cover for the PPM Profile: * Effective communication * Attention to details * Product Knowledge (Mango and others as appropriate) * Proactive * Easily adaptable to change * Able to work collaboratively with other departments * Excellent reporting/system skills * Able to work on own initiative * Thorough and diligent * Passionate * Resilient * Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Core Competencies: * Team Skills: It will be necessary to work with and communicate with other members of staff, and production team, respect their abilities, helping and assisting where appropriate, to ensure the smooth running of the Company. * Prioritise: It is necessary to be aware of tasks in hand and ensure that an appropriate level of urgency is applied as appropriate. * Communication: Utilising properly, as appropriate, all forms of communication and understanding the need for record keeping. * Computer /Software: To be computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook and Rubicon. * Organisational Skills: The post holder must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills show attention to detail always
