Contracts manager groundworks

John reilly civil engineering are currently recruiting for an experienced contracts manager to join our team within the South Coast. Established in 1986, John Reilly group have a strong reputation within the Groundworks and Civils Market. We are a family run business based in Swanwick and have gone from strength to strength year on year. We currently have a full order book and pride ourselves on quality of the job. Key Responsibilities: bull; * Manage all aspects of contracts, from negotiation to execution and performance evaluation. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables. * Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure adherence to contractual agreements. * Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues. * Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive project success. * Lead contract review meetings and provide strategic guidance to project teams. * Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to optimize project outcomes. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in the construction industry. * Strong understanding of contract law, project management principles, and commercial negotiations. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Relevant degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field. This role will be on a permanent basis and salary and package is negotiable. Ideally you will have Residential groundworks experience or a strong Civil Engineering background
