Purchase ledger assistant

Hello, My client is a globally leading engineering company that specialises in supplying innovative solutions for subsea and harsh environment applications. They are currently in need of a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team in Stithians, Cornwall. ROLE: Working as a Purchase Ledger Assistant you will support the Finance Co-ordinator with daily routine processing tasks and other such duties to support the finance function and wider business. DUTIES: * Monitoring accounts email inbox * Ensuring supplier invoices match purchase orders * Processing of all supplier invoices into Xero * Ensuing all invoices are received against supplier statements * Adding credit card receipts and expenses to Xero * Assist procurement on purchase orders. * Chasing any credit card receipts/invoices not received against purchases * Other ad hoc duties as and when required SKILLS: * Experience using Xero Accounting software * Previous experience in a similar role * Adaptive, able to use own initiative and ability to work independently * Good numerical skills and attention to detail * BENEFITS: * 33 days holidays per annum including bank holidays * Private health care package * Cycle to work scheme * NEST pension and technology scheme LOCATION: STITHIANS, CORNWALL SALARY: GBP14P/H ndash; 20 HOURS P/W ndash; FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS PLEASE RESPOND TO ME WITH YOUR MOST UP TO DATE CV TO BE CONSIDERED Kind Regards, Maria Roque - Recruitment Consultant
