Adult Social Worker GBP30 - GBP32 per hourly rate Cornwall Council are looking for two Adult Social Workers to join their Care and Support Team. Hybrid Working Full Time and Part Time available What skills are required for the job: Ability to recognise abuse. Ability to triage safeguarding referrals and make decisions on whether the referrals should progress to section 42. Ability to identify immediate risk and take necessary action to address i.e. inform partner agencies, request a visit from a locality/ short term team duty worker. Ability to work in partnership with external agencies to support the best outcome for the individual at risk of abuse. Ability to take part on a duty rota. Ability to screen incoming SA referrals. Ability to identify when a referral requires care management and forward to the relevant teams. Ability to offer advice and guidance to newly qualifies, less experiences and unqualified team members. Ability to work within a team and be a supportive team member. Ability to take ownership/ accountability of own work and decisions made and be able to explain these if required.
