Due to growth, they are looking to bolster their Finance team with an Assistant Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business and assist them with the day to day running of the accounts function at the Site. Package Benefits: Company pension (up to 10% company contribution) Study support package 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Death in Service ndash; 3x annual salary Employee assistance programmeAssistant Accountant Responsibilities: Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts Production of financial accounts up to the trial balance stage Accruals/prepayments Month end balance sheet reconciliations and prepare reports Weekly cash flow forecasting and budget preparation Assist in year end audit preparation Analyse monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Liaise with other departments for effective communication and collaboration Ad-hoc reporting and project workRequired Skills Experience: Actively studying ACCA or CIMA You will have a good knowledge of current accounting standards, and experience in the production of management accounts Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel Experience in a similar varied accounting role Have the ability to work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines Good decision-making skills, assessing situations to determine the importance If you are interested in finding out about this exciting Assistant Accountant opportunity, please click lsquo;apply now rsquo;.
