Room Leader A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our Client based in Coventry. They are looking to hire a Room Leader for their quality setting. This private day nursery offers Term-Time Only and the successful candidate will be a leader of the preschool team, providing an emotionally secure, warm, stimulating, and safe environment, appropriate to the needs of the individual children. Main Responsibilities; Contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children aged 3-5 years. Cooperate and work effectively with the management and staff team to ensure that the setting rsquo;s philosophy is fulfilled. Be vigilant and safeguard all children, reporting any concerns immediately ndash; in accordance with the safeguarding children and Child protection policy. Effectively deliver the EYFS through observation, assessment, and planning, ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children are met, in conjunction with other team members. Maintain records of your key children rsquo;s development and learning, and share with parents, carers, and other professionals Maintain confidentiality regarding the children, their families, or other staff, and understand that the public interest in Safeguarding Children overrides the public interest in maintaining confidentiality. Ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained. Essential Criteria needed: Minimum of a relevant and recognised Early Years Level 3 qualification Room Leader experience Current Early Years experience Strong organisational skills The successful candidate can look forward to a very competitive rate of pay, in house development and scope for progression!
