Exciting Opportunity: Forest School Lead Needed! Are you an enthusiastic educator with a love for the outdoors? Do you have a passion for inspiring children through nature-based learning? Milestone Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Forest School Lead to Join our team! Responsibilities: As a Forest School Lead you will play a crucial role in encouraging children to explore, discover, and grow through hands-on experiences in nature. Your responsibilities will include: * Lead and deliver engaging Forest School sessions for studets of all ages, fostering a love for the outdoors. * Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating outdoor learning environment where all students can thrive. * Plan and organise a variety of outdoor activities, including wildlife exploration, team-bilding exercises, and creative projects. * Monitor and assess student progress, adapting activites to meet the needs and abilities of all participants. * Ensure all risk assessments are in place and adhered to during Forest School sessions. * Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate outdoor learning with classroom topics and objectives. * Forster a sense of respect for nature among students. * Engage with parents and caregivers to promote the benefits of Forest School and encourage their involvement. Requirements: To be successful in this role you will need: * Enhanced DBS Check (Or be willing to complete one) * Forest School Leader Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in outdoor education. * Proven experience working with children in an educational or outdoor setting. * Creativity, adaptability and a genuine passion for outdoor learning. Additional Details: Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am ndash; 3:30pm Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, measured by qualifications and experience.
