PROJECT MANAGER GBP90,000 - GBP110,000 + Benefits GBP20m RC Frame Groundwork Package ndash; London About the Opportunity: I am looking for Project Managers capable of overseeing RC Frame Groundwork packages on residential and commercial projects. Package sizes vary for this contractor from GBP10m up to GBP50m and the initial site is a GBP20m concrete frame and groundwork package in London for new build residential apartments. I can only consider Project Managers from an engineering background that have worked predominantly for concrete frame groundwork subcontractors in the UK. As the Project Manager, you will be expected to manage the complete concrete frame construction with all the associated groundworks and foundations. You rsquo;ll be supported by a fantastic team, but it will be your responsibility to keep the project to programme while maintaining safety and controlling the budget. This is a client facing role with paperwork duties, so technically minded managers are required that have a proven background seeing these packages through from planning stages through to completion. About the Employer: Based just outside London this specialist subcontractor is still growing year on year and with an annual turnover of circa GBP200m, this shows they are doing amazingly well. Usual packages range from GBP10m up to GBP50m each (with some going above this) and include a variety of basement works, groundworks and multi storey reinforced concrete frames. This business has a close-knit senior management and the successful individual can expect to join a business that values every individual. As the business grows there is definitely room for progression, so those looking to continue to develop their career, can be sure there is no glass ceiling here. These positions will report directly to either a contracts manager or the operations director of the business. And it is worth pointing out, these positions are available immediately as the new projects have been secured and are either ready to go live on site or you can be involved with the planning ahead of start. About the Requirements / Experience Needed: * Must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar) * Must have proven experience as a Project Manager * Must have worked for a rival RC/Concrete Frame subcontractor in the UK. Outside of the above, I am ideally looking for managers who have overseen RC frame groundwork packages with values of at least GBP10 million each. And stability of employment is always important, so again, ideally, I rsquo;d like individuals who have held stable periods of time (i.e., 2-3 years plus) with each employer (since becoming a manager). Salary / Benefits Available: Packages are always based on individual rsquo;s backgrounds and experience but as a rough guide I am looking to consider anyone looking to earn anywhere from GBP90,000 to GBP110,000 per annum. This can be broken down into a day rate for those that are CIS or Limited Company set up (circa GBP400 to GBP450 per day), or additional benefits can be added for those that are PAYE. Performance bonuses are paid and benefits include travel / car allowances and pension.
