Electrical data project manager

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Infrastructure Project Manager for an M E Engineering / Data Infastructure company based out of Basingstoke. Our client work on commercial projects between Basingstoke and London. We are looking for an experienced and driven Manager with professional customer facing experience, delivering multiple data infrastructure installation projects in London and surrounding area. Job Description * Successfully manage customer projects to time/cost/quality objectives in London and surrounding areas. * Pursue new business leads and assist in the preparation of competitive tenders/pricing with the Estimating teams. * Professional project planning throughout the project lifecycle. * Delivering projects in accordance with company and customer processes, procedures, and statutory obligations, taking overall responsibility for project quality. * Compile up to date customer and internal project reports. * Ability to work with construction project teams to understand physical design requirements, including layout, project phasing and any new/additional requirements. * Ensure consistency with company and statutory obligations regarding the Health Safety of employees third parties. * Manage labour directly assigned to the project(s) consistent with employee expectations, general company policies and best practice. * Experience and commercial awareness * Ability to maximise the revenue from contracts through scope and variation orders. * To participate in training that the company may from time to time, to achieve accreditations and qualifications that are deemed essential for the fulfilment of duties. * To professionally represent the company, protecting the company assets and its reputation. Suitable candidate: * CSCS/ECS Card * SSSTS/SMSTS. * CNet CTPM certification would be beneficial. * Full UK Driving License * Works well under pressure and has the ability to communicate clearly at all levels. * Strong organisational, interpersonal and administrative skills Location: London
