Senior Registered Nurse - Wards - Responsibilities: bull; Ensure consistent maintenance of patient care standards in accordance with operational policies and procedures. bull; Uphold and enhance customer service and satisfaction for service users. bull; Advocate for the well-being and interests of patients, employees, and consultants, acting as a mentor to junior team members. bull; Deputize for the Sister/Charge Nurse and lead clinical shifts when required. bull; Provide individualized patient care, maintaining excellent standards. bull; Act as a safeguarding advocate for patients, speaking up when concerns about care arise. bull; Conduct oneself professionally in accordance with NMC and HCPC Codes of Professional Conduct. Senior Registered Nurse - Wards Key Requirements: bull; Registered General Nurse Level 1/Diploma/BSc in Nursing Studies. bull; Previous senior role experience in surgical wards. bull; Evidence of relevant clinical professional development, ideally certified RN with valid NMC Registration. bull; Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent). bull; Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability. bull; Excellent clinical applied knowledge based on evidence and national best practice standards. bull; Basic workload/shift management skills. bull; Understanding of workload and shift management. bull; Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence. bull; Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems. bull; Minimum 18 months post-registration experience.
