Team Leader Service: Mental Health Location: Highbury Grove London Reporting to: Service Manager Responsible for: Recovery Workers Salary: GBP14.97 per hour Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Hours of Work: 39 hours per week on average Role Responsibilities: * To lead operational day to day delivery of the GCH under the direction of the Service Manager * With the Service Manager, to develop joint working and monitoring protocols with key stakeholders and partners for the GCH * To maintain partnerships with key stakeholders for the GCH * To manage day to day service performance related to the contract requirements including delivery against KPIs, outcomes and user experience measures * With the Service Manager to ensure timely and accurate submission of all internal and external reports detailing interim strategies to address any areas of underperformance in line with contract requirements * To work with the Service Manager to develop and implement the service rsquo;s annual Business Plans and Equality plans ensuring plans are aligned with the organisational strategic aims and the contractual requirements * To maintain the continuing relevance of all the provision of the service to customers rsquo; needs and to the funders rsquo; requirements by ongoing planning, monitoring, evaluating and effective service delivery with the Service Manager * To support the client facing staff (Recovery Workers and Waking Night Workers) to achieve the agreed standards of service delivery in line with clients rsquo; needs and aspirations as well as compliance with relevant legislation, external governance, contract requirements and our clients rsquo; policies and procedures * To work with the Service Manager to liaise with senior staff at the landlord of the building regarding H S responsibilities and reporting any deficits * To manage the recruitment and induction of new client facing staff * To engage direct reports in annual appraisal and regular supervision Person Specification * Demonstrable experience of supporting people with mental health and complex needs * Experience and expertise to manage staff working with people who have complex issues and health problems and a strong understanding of Recovery approaches and co-production including. knowledge of issues affecting those individuals including paid Experts by Experience staff * Experience in recruitment, induction, supervision, motivation, appraisal, training * Ability to complete and record accurate financial transactions and knowledge of managing budgets * Experience and familiarity with running services in an accommodation-based setting, including repairs and maintenance and a basic understanding of building and physical health and safety * Knowledge of Community Care, Mental health, Health and Safety and welfare benefits legislation (including welfare reform * Knowledge of methods of assessing, formulating, implementing, recording, reviewing, and auditing service users rsquo; support and safety assessment plans * Good knowledge of MS Office systems, able to use computer systems including case management systems to create accurate reports and able to assess and audit staff ability to use computer systems to record client data accurately and to a high standard * Ability to work flexibly, including out of hours during the evening, weekends/BHs To apply for this excellent opportunity with an established, respected employer, please send your CV
