Team Leader Location: HMP Downview Salary: GBP30,082 - GBP33,424 per annum The Forward Trust are a UK leading provider of drug and alcohol treatment services to offenders. These services provide a variety of support, including advice, counselling, group work and intensive treatment. What you will be doing As a Team Leader you will be responsible for leading a team of Health and Well-being Practitioners. This role is based on site at HMP Downview, a female closed category prison located in Sutton. Day-to-day a Team Leader will: * Oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of the Substance Misuse Service at HMP Downview alongside the Service Manager. * Provide support, supervision and line management to the team. * Hold a caseload of complex service users and deliver interventions both 1:1 and group facilitation. * Develop team and individual objectives to achieve targets set by Forward Trust, commissioners and key stakeholders. * Proactively engage and establish effective working relationships with all stakeholders. * Ensure case management and group programme are effectively planned and delivered to organisational standards. * Support and monitor supervisees to ensure appropriate caseload management in line with service contract and specification. * Support recruitment and retention activities. * monitor outcomes of performance and support appropriate data collection and submissions where necessary. * Contribute to ongoing service improvement and risk management in accordance with the needs of the service users, audit and CQC requirements. *** Please be aware the service operates over 7 days a week therefore weekend working will be required on a rota basis*** What we are looking for * Experience of working within a Health and Justice setting * Experience of direct line management or supervisory responsibilities * Awareness of the issues faced by those impacted by addiction or offending What we offer * Training opportunities and career development * Flexible working * Season Ticket Loan Scheme * Cycle to work scheme * 25 days (rising to 30 with length of service) Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays * Contributory Pension Scheme ndash; Employer matched contributions of up to 6% in the first two years rsquo; service and up to 9% thereafter * Death in Service Payment (2x annual salary) * Critical Illness Insurance (subject to qualifying criteria) To Apply If you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for the Forward Trust, please click apply to be redirected to their website to complete your application.
