Job Details: Position: Operation and Transport Assistant Shifts: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 Pay Rate: GBP25,000 per annum Job Summary: To be the link between the office and warehouse for dispatches making sure that all deliveries are picked and checked within the timescales for order accuracy and meeting all the customer requirements by arranging the correct transport within the times required, whilst being cost efficient for the company. Duties include: To check all dispatch orders to ensure order accuracy by completing 2nd To feedback any issues to the warehouse team. Grouping of deliveries to make each journey more cost effective. Liaise with the customers for the best suitable delivery day and time and meet the customer rsquo;s requirements. To arrange the schedule for the company van and resolving any issues the driver may have. Building relationships with customers through telephone calls etc. Liaise with the warehouse team and Sales team to make the deliveries a smooth operation. Liaise with the warehouse team to schedule picks and notify them of picks being loaded to the handset. Collaborate with the Sales team to find out when orders are due to be delivered to customers. To support the warehouse in the absence of Operations Team. To ensure a picking list is printed for each order to be checked. To assist with Goods In processes and check stock again Purchase Order and complete GRN. Utilise the van to full capacity for all journeys.
