About the role: Reporting to: Production Engineering Quality Manager Responsibilities: middot;Support the management of all quality-related issues within the manufacturing Goods Receiving teams (e.g. internal, supplier, customer and customer warranty) middot;Be instrumental in the identification of defect root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues. Routine use of Global 8D process. middot;Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards. middot;Carry out/ assist personnel with product and process audits. middot;Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented and maintained. middot;Is empowered to stop production in the event of unacceptable goods/processes, identify the resolution actions needed in order to re-start production. middot;Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to/ auditing of the Business Management system including (TS16949/ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 or ISO45001) where required. middot;Assist with training of quality awareness middot;Ensure that all areas of the business are working to the SOPs and identify where actions need to be taken to resolve.
