Working on commercial projects within a fast-paced environment, the key responsibilities for your new role as Highways Engineer are as follows: * Independently undertaking conceptual and feasibility design, as well as detailed design. * Balancing a number of projects, at any one time. * Attending client and design team meetings to convey and relay key issues on technical matters, as well as programme, contractual and commercial matters, with support from colleagues and management. * Coordinating with colleagues in other offices to ensure consistent standards are provided nationwide. * Complying with company design, safety, quality and environmental compliance and procedural standards. My client would love to hear from people who have a solid background in highway design and are familiar with S104, S38 and S278 sectional agreements. Regardless of previous expertise however, you will be a team-player, by nature, and be keen to grow and develop by working on a wide variety of engaging projects. In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of GBP35,000 - GBP45,000, dependent on experience, with further opportunities for progression being readily available for those who want it.
