Senior Structural Engineer (Building Structures) Location: London Salary up to GBP55,000 + Benefits This is a great opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a leading, innovative design consultancy based in their London office on a permanent basis. Working from a vibrant design office you will be Chartered or working towards Chartership. You will have a mix of building structures design experience working across sectors (with a bias towards commercial, leisure and residential builds) and you will be invited to join a friendly and supportive team which actively encourages innovation and progression. In order to be considered for this Senior Structural Engineer role; bull; Be chartered or Incorporated status (or working towards). bull; Ability to deliver projects through to completion, and work within a multidisciplinary team. bull; Good communication skills. bull; Experience of using 3D design and analysis software on a range of building types. Key Responsibilities for this Senior Structural Engineer role include; bull; Responsible for working within a team of engineers and technicians in the delivery of civil and structural engineering projects. bull; Responsible for co-ordinating delivery of structures bull; Responsible for the development and ongoing management of design delivery programmes. bull; Responsible for the analysis and design of overall building structures using Design/Analysis software. bull; Responsible for managing CAD/Revit technicians to ensure that an appropriate level of design information is included on production information. bull; Visiting sites and attending site meetings. bull; Involvement in internal and project design meetings. bull; Attend external design meetings with clients and other design team members. bull; Prepare correspondence and reports. Knowledge bull; Must hold a degree in Structural/Civil Engineering. bull; Must be IT literate with experience of structural design software packages.
