Year 5 Teaching Assistant We are recruiting for a Year 5 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Pemberton (WN5) to provide general support to the class teacher. This is a long-term position starting as soon as possible. Could this be the role for you? You will also be expected to work with groups of children and occasionally on a one to one basis as and when required. This Year 5 Teaching Assistantjob is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break. Your role responsibilities: * Encourage the child to overcome learning barriers * Work closely with the child to they are achieving their full potential * To be Inspirational and highly effective in the classroom * To be Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential Non-negotiables: * Have either a relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or Level 3 or above * Recent experience supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles. * Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen. * Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
