Purchasing manager role

PRS Recruitment Solutions Ltd requires a full-time Purchasing Manager to work at our client #39;s very busy operation based in Chessington, which specialise in the distribution of commercial flooring and stair accessory products to customers across London the South East. The Role: * Coordinate and collate stock and lsquo;special rsquo; orders to our supplier partners. * Complete the required paperwork when ordering stock. * Check stock levels regularly. * Update stock information on the computer system. * Implementing or improving processes and procedures. * Comparing items received against items ordered. * Compiling reports and addressing inventory discrepancies. * Maintaining records of pricing, purchases, and other relevant information. * Interrogate analytical sales data to ensure best practice on stock purchase. * Form relationships with trading suppliers to ensure best price achieved. * Respond to and deal with suppliers, colleagues and customer communication by email and telephone. * Plan future capacity requirements. * Working hours 08.00 ndash; 5.00 pm Monday ndash; Friday The Package: * GBP35,000 - Per Annum * 31 Days Holiday including bank holidays and the Christmas shutdown * Pension scheme / auto-enrolment. * Career progression * Onsite parking * Close to the public transport network Requirements: * Previous Purchasing Management Experience * Possess excellent communication Skills * Be numerate and literate * Have excellent PC Skills * Be able to work either on your own or as part of a team Essential Behaviours: * Act in a calm and professional manner at all times * Be upbeat, proactive, and positive, with a lsquo;can-do attitude * Be professional and presentable at all times * Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances * Willingness to work extended or unsociable hours during peak periods If this sounds like your next career move get in contact with Jayde Huggett by applying for this role and we will be in contact shortly
