Are you an experienced Commercial Manager with a strong commercial background working for Tier 1 main contractors looking for a new opportunity? Fawkes And Reece are proud to be working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor in their search for an experienced Commercial Manager working on a large GBP30m - GBP40m healthcare project. You will be responsible for initiating and leading tasks and processes, taking responsibility and being accountable for the work and roles of others, whilst exercising broad autonomy and judgement within broad parameters in your area of responsibility. You will be based on-site in Boston, Lincolnshire responsible for all commercial aspects of a large contract turning over in excess of GBP10m per annum. You will need a strong understanding of the impact of commercial and technical changes at strategic levels within the sector. Duties Include But Are Not Limited To; Business Leadership, Tendering And Pre-Contract Activities, Start Up of New Projects, Procurement, Applications for Payment and Invoicing, Cost Control, Accounting And Reporting, Risk and Opportunity Management, Change Control, Programming and Project Controls, main Contract Administration, Subcontract Administration and Project Completion. Anticipate and plan change in commercial resource within a project or projects to meet changing demands. Support and react positively to organisational change Tendering and Pre-Contract Activities. Provide commercial support to tendering process. Prepare commercial report for tenders Start Up of New Projects. Actively participates in the implementation of project commercial start up procedures Procurement. Prepare the basis of work package contents sheets and ensure the project team contribute and complete their relevant sections. Carry out gap analysis between packages to ensure full and complete subcontract procurement takes place. Ensure inclusive invitations to tender are prepared and full tender evaluations are completed.
