Residential support worker

We are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Residential Support Worker, to join a strong and supportive children rsquo;s residential company in Norwich. JOB TITLE: Residential Support Worker, Norwich SALARY: GBP28,000 - GBP29,500 (dependent on experience) (inclusive of sleep-ins) + benefits ABOUT THE ROLE: Rewarding and meaningful career with opportunities for progression. Additional training, coaching, and mentoring is provided to help you grow with the role, with regular support from experienced managers. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN BRIEF: * Ensuring that all children and young people have their needs met and are safeguarded from harm, neglect, abuse or exploitation. * Responding to any child care concerns appropriately. * Ensuring that the building, equipment and furniture is well maintained. * Working effectively and can co-ordinate with social workers, parents/guardians and other connected professional agencies. IDEAL CRITERIA: * Previous experience working within residential childcare, or similar environment * Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities * Level 3 Diploma in Health Social Care or be willing to work towards this (with the company rsquo;s full support) * Full UK driving licence (essential) * Willingness to be flexible, including shift patterns and sleep-ins BENEFITS: * Access to Perkbox, providing many benefits and discounts. * Signed up to Medicash for health benefits. * Company employee engagement initiatives. * Paid overtime depending on service needs
