Hours of work: Monday ndash; Thursday: 07:00 ndash; 3:30 pm (45 minutes lunch) Friday: 07:00 ndash; 2:30 pm (1 hour lunch) This is the perfect position for someone who has some experience working within a transport/logistics office and understands working time directives and vehicle telematics. Key responsibilities of the Transport Administrator: * Collating drivers rsquo; hours both electronically using Tachomaster software and manually * Controlling drivers rsquo; hours and ensuring compliance with Working Time Directives (WTD) regulations * Managing and monitoring PODs and liaising with the IT department on any scanner issues * Collecting signed paperwork from Drivers * Taking calls from Drivers with regards to issues downloading and scanning their loads, helping to resolve issues, and escalating where needed * Filing and checking in all vehicle defects to ensure all are accounted for * Inputting monthly fuel figures and MPG * Ordering and controlling all fuel cards * Updating bespoke FORS software with all PCNs and fuel usage * Handling all PCNs and either recharging them to drivers or appealing them where parking has been paid * Downloading and inputting weekly vehicle mileage from Tachomaster onto an Excel spreadsheet * Managing and ordering all department #39;s uniform requirements To fulfil the role of Transport Administrator role you must: * Have knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook * Have excellent attention to detail and strong organisation skills * Be self-disciplined and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Excellent time management skills * A desire to progress into the Transport environment Additional Information: * 30 days holiday per year including statutory days increasing to 33 days after 6 years continuous employment with one extra day for each year of service * Contributory Pension after 3 months * Staff discount on furniture * On-site canteen area and kitchen facilities * Free parking Company info: Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of fitted kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom furniture; the organisation has been in operation for over 50 years and has experienced growth year on year, they operate nationally and have around 50% share of the private housing market and currently supply one in every three kitchens to the social housing market.
