Transport administrator

GPS Recruitment have an opportunity for a Transport Administrator, working alongside the current Transport team. This appointment will be an opportunity for an individual with administration skills to progress within the transport industry. Working Hours: Mon-Fri,7am-3.30pm (2.30pm finish on Fridays) Main duties: * Collate drivers rsquo; hours both electronically (Tachomaster) and manually to control drivers rsquo; hours and maintain compliance with WTD * Managing and monitoring POD rsquo;s and scanner issuers gathering in signed paperwork, liaising where required with the IT department. Contact with fleet of drivers with issues downloading, scanning their loads, resolving issues. * Filing / checking in all vehicle defects. * Inputting monthly fuel figures and MPG, ordering and controlling all fuel cards. * Updating bespoke FORS software with all PCN rsquo;s and fuel usage. * Dealing with all PCN rsquo;s and recharge to drivers as required or appealing them where parking has been paid. * Downloading / inputting weekly vehicle mileage from Tachomaster. * Other general office duties. Key personal skills: * Excellent organisational and written and numerical skills. * Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages- Excel * An ambition to progress with the transport function. * Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels. * Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a dynamic team. * Computer literate Through time, you may be offered excellent opportunities to progress as a Designer within the business
