Electrical design engineer

The below job description will outline this position of: Electrical design Engineer Typically, this person will be a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to assist our client who works within the marine industry. You will be required to working on electrical drawings and using AutoCAD. HSB Technical rsquo;s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Electrical design Engineer: bull; Draughting all electrical drawings to an excellent standard bull; To make sure all drawings meet class requirements bull; Assembling and organising information for the Electrical Manager bull; Create electrical wiring schedules bull; Produce data lists for the setup and commission of each vessel bull; Ensuring compliance with the relevant ISO/IEC standards bull; Collating information for the as built drawing packs bull; Design marine electrical circuits to accommodate optional extras to each vessel bull; Basic knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems Qualifications and requirement for the Electrical design Engineer: bull; NVQ, HND or degree qualification in electrical engineer or related discipline is essential bull; Skilled in AutoCAD or other suitable 2D drafting software bull; Experience in the commercial industry bull; Skilled in excel bull; Strong understanding of HV, electrical circuits, cabinet design bull; Able to manage your own time to hit deadlines This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
