MEP / Building Services / Consultancy / Electrical Design Engineer / Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer / Building Services Design Engineer Overview This role is to join a national, modern multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, providing a wide range of services across the majority of industry sectors including commercial, health, education, defence, residential and community. On joining you rsquo;ll be part of a friendly, collaborative group of building services design engineers, where you rsquo;ll feel like a trusted part of the team from day one. Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities The role will involve providing electrical engineering support to the practice by providing expertise in the field of electrical engineering in the built environment and to include design and project management responsibilities. * Meet with clients to establish project brief and budget costs for client consideration. * Draw up detailed specifications and drawings against client rsquo;s briefs. * Review tenders received and prepare tender reports and recommendations. * Project manage site works from commencement to completion. * Carry out inspections of existing installations and submit condition reports. * Develop Energy Strategies to adopt appropriate sustainable and low carbon mechanical design systems. * Complete site visits, surveys, and witness system commissioning. * Guide junior engineers. Essential skills and Experience * Degree/Master rsquo;s in Electrical Engineering. * Experience of building services design. * Member of the Chartered institute of Building Services Engineers and/or The Energy Institute (or equivalents). * Chartered or in the process of becoming chartered would be advantageous. * Full driving licence
