Shift electrical trade maintenance engineer

Shift Electrical Trade (Maintenance Engineer) Saint Gobain Glass UK Eggborough, Goole 4 on 4 off shifts Are you someone who is passionate about Electrical Maintenance in manufacturing environments? At Saint-Gobain Glass UK, part of the Saint-Gobain Group, Europe #39;s leading manufacturer of flat glass for the UK market, we are looking for an electrical Maintenance Engineer to work as part of a production team focused on a section of our manufacturing operation. As a shift electrical Tradesperson, you will work in a hands-on capacity, your primary duties will be the ongoing electrical maintenance of the machinery in the areas, delivering routine preventative work using a SAP CMMS system, and responding to break downs delivering fault finding and repair duties while applying route cause analysis. It would be great if you could support some basic mechanical maintenance activities too, such as changing bearings and similar. In addition to your day to day maintenance and repair duties you will play an active role is supporting the wider engineering team. This could be supporting the delivery of some project work, equipment modification, removal or installation, and other similar activities. Glass UK is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brands. The Glass UK site in Eggborough is part of a business with a 350 year heritage in flat glass manufacturing. We have invested heavily into our Eggborough facility in recent years including GBP20m in a new furnace, securing the site for the next 20 years. This is a full-time position based in Eggborough, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights) Full details of working terms, conditions, benefits, and pay will be supplied upon application. What we #39;re looking for: Electrical qualifications are essential such as NVQ 3, equivalent, or above. Experience working in manufacturing or heavy industry. Working knowledge and experience in the application of safe working practices. Experience of delivering scheduled preventative maintenance activities, ideally using a digital CMMS system. Experience and ability to conduct fault finding and route cause analysis in electrical systems, PLC #39;s, and plant machinery. Are Glass UK and Saint-Gobain inclusive employers?
