Residential support worker

Hours ranging from 7am - 10pm. Part Time / Full Time / Bank Hours Available Hourly rate raising for GBP13 once qualified! Located in the glorious Dorset countryside with 28 acres of land for play and relaxation, the school boasts of many facilities such as a theatre, sports hall, indoor and outdoor riding areas, climbing wall, multiple safe play areas and a swimming pool. We are The Forum School, a 38-52 weeks school and home for children and young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, in Blandford Forum. The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. Our young people are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such. However, as a general guide, duties may include some support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching the football, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions. As a key part of the dedicated teams we allocate to every child, you rsquo;ll have a vital role in helping children learn and develop skills for life. You don rsquo;t need any special qualifications for this role, but you do need to share our passion to help children be the very best they can be.
