Seeking a Key stage 3 Teacher in Blandford! Job Title: Key stage 3 Teacher Location: Blandford Salary: Teacher scale - MPS/UPS Start Date: September 2024 GSL Education is currently partnering with a SEN school in Blandford, in the pursuit of a dynamic and dedicated full-time Key stage 3 teacher. This presents an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of the school in the new academic year. However, there is scope to start sooner too! Ideally this is a full-time role, but the school will also consider a job share. The role will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS). As a Key stage 3 teacher you will provide accessible and inclusive education for Years 7 and 8, working in tandem with numerous members of support staff. The school has small classes, typically 6-12 students in each class. The school uses a primary model, emphasising core subjects of English, Maths and Science daily. Specialist subjects include music and food technology, which are also integrated in the timetable, as well as off-site sport activities. This primary teaching model ensures consistency, stability, and a nurturing environment for academic and social development, which is the key ethos of the school. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for lifelong learning. Experience using educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning is desirable.
