Due to growth, a Mechanical Project Manager is required to join the business. Your main place of work would be the office in Ipswich. Responsibilities: Take full ownership and accountability for Mechanical contracts, from tendering stage to final handover. Provide accurate and detailed mechanical cost estimates, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Collaborate with the design team to review mechanical specifications and drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and industry standards. Oversee the procurement process for mechanical equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets. Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any technical issues that may arise. Implement effective project management practices, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure that mechanicalinstallations meet the highest standards and client expectations. Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Provide guidance and support to the site team regarding mechanical installations, troubleshooting, and resolving any technical challenges.
