Practice Accounts Manager GBP Competitive DOE Ipswich Our client based in Ipswich has an exciting opportunity for a ldquo;hands on rdquo; Practice Accounts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate for this role will be ACA or ACCA Qualified and have at least 5 years Practice experience managing a portfolio of clients whilst leading a team. Duties for the Accounts Manager role:- * Oversee and take responsibility of a portfolio of clients to ensure compliance for tax and accounting purposes. * Be first point of contact for your clients, working closely with the designated partner. * Supervising team members and managing workflow through the office. * Working collaboratively with other departments within the group. * Reviewing of compliance work including year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns and personal/company tax returns. * Assist clients with queries and advising clients where necessary. * Assisting the Directors with ad hoc projects. * Proactively building a network of professional contacts. Essential requirements for the Accounts Manager role * A minimum of 5 years practice experience and ACA or ACCA Qualified * Previous experience in managing a sizeable client portfolio and delivering a suite of Tax and Accounting services * Ability to convey and explain ideas, problem solve, analyse and delegate * Strong IT / Microsoft Office skills ndash; Excel in particular * Team player who is customer focused with excellent communication skills * Highly organised with strong planning ability and very much results focused * Flexibility and adaptability In return for your hard work, our client is offering a very competitive salary along with a wide range of company benefits and opportunities to develop.
