Multi skilled maintenance engineer electrical bias

We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty cargo material handling systems, ensuring their optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Salary: GBP45,000 per annum Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities: * Conducting routine maintenance checks on material handling systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components. * Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues. * Performing repairs and replacements of faulty parts as necessary. * Conducting preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous operation. * Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime. * Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities. * Documenting maintenance activities and keeping accurate records of equipment performance and repairs. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably with a focus on heavy-duty cargo material handling systems. * Electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). * Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read electrical schematics. * Experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems is advantageous. * Flexibility to participate in a 1 in 3 call-out rota. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients * Able to provide 5 years full working references If you are a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias looking to take on a new challenge, please submit your CV or call (phone number removed)
