Financial Planning and Analysis Manager GBP53k Manchester Hybrid position 12 month fixed term contract An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join a large social enterprise. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will drive forecasting and budgeting processes across assigned departments, delivering comprehensive financial analysis and insights to the Senior Management Team and Managing Director. Lead commercial modelling for tenders and commercial business opportunities, ensuring robust financial evaluation across the lifetime of the contract. Key Responsibilities: bull; Develop and implement financial systems and processes tailored to meet the evolving business needs. bull; Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial budgets, forecasts, and other appropriate financial management information to support and challenge Business Unit rsquo;s bull; Lead and co-ordinate the annual budgeting process ensuring full alignment to the Group Budget process and business plan. bull; Conduct comprehensive financial modelling for tenders, commercial opportunities, and grant claims to facilitate informed decision-making. bull; Work with the Finance Reporting team to ensure effective collaboration on management accounts and the companies cashflow. bull; Provide accurate cash forecasting in relation to business planning. bull; Financial support throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from tendering to contract closeouts, ensuring financial rigor and compliance. bull; Provide external financial reporting to commissioning bodies that are accurate and timely, with a thorough narrative. bull; Facilitate financial support for Business Unit SMTs and business review meetings, offering valuable insights and guidance. bull; Deliver insightful financial analysis covering effective cost management and margin maximisation on contracts. bull; To maintain schedules to support the annual audit cycle, with particular focus on revenue recognition, understanding core accounting principles. bull; Provide strategic and operational financial input into GC projects and initiatives as required. bull; Ensure all responsibilities are met accurately and are managed robustly to strict deadlines. About You: bull; Have significant experience in finance with, at least, 2 years rsquo; experience within Financial Planning and Analysis or a similar finance function. bull; Developing financial models for analysis and review. bull; Managing and leading annual Budgeting processes and effective forecasting. bull; Experience in robust and meaningful financial analysis. Requirements: bull; Hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or be qualified by experience. bull; Educated to degree level or equivalent. bull; Understanding of Financial Reporting Standards and their application. bull; Excellent analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills. bull; Advanced Excel knowledge and application. bull; Financial analysis and reporting. bull; Developing financial models for analysis and review. bull; Managing and leading annual Budgeting processes and effective forecasting. bull; Experience in robust and meaningful financial analysis.
