Field service engineer

Job Role: Field Service Engineer - Cirencester Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire (accepting applications from surrounding counties) Salary: GBP30,000-GBP40,000 (OTE GBP45,000-GBP50,000+) - paid door to door Hours: Monday-Friday 08.00-17:00 + Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x Job Type: Full time, Permanent The client: Interaction Technical have partnered with a growing, world leading manufacturer of Agricultural Engineering Equipment based in the Gloucestershire area to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to the growth of the business, our client is now looking to add an electromechanical field engineer in and around the Cirencester area to maintain, repair and service an array of Agricultural machinery. The package: middot; Salary between GBP30,000-GBP40,000 dependent on experience middot; 32 days holiday including bank holidays - increasing with service middot; Overtime available at 1.5X midweek, x2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays middot; Holiday overtime pay - paid in May (GBP1,500 paid last year) middot; Ongoing commitment to training and progression middot; Pension scheme - 3% employee minimum, 8% employer middot; Company van, Fuel Card middot; All Travel Time, Expenses paid from home to/from site. middot; A fantastic Earning Potential with scope to progress middot; Call out Rota The Duties: middot; Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on agricultural machinery (tractors, combiners, Bailers etc) middot; Travel to customer sites to ensure all machinery is maintained and repaired to the highest quality. middot; The ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered. middot; Working on engines, batteries and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs. middot; Liaising with clients to diagnose faults and find solutions for them. middot; You will be on a call out rota with fellow engineers. The Requirements: middot; Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential) middot; Previous experience working within the Agricultural industry experience (essential) middot; Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair service experience (advantageous) middot; Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous) middot; Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous) middot; Full UK Drivers License Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance IT, Technical Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
