Position: Science Teacher Location: Blackburn Hours of Work: 40 hours per week; Monday ndash; Friday Salary: GBP30,000 ndash; GBP46,525 per annum + SEN Allowance GBP2539 Start Date: September 2024 About the School: We are currently seeking a passionate Science teacher to join a specialist school in Blackburn. An advantage would be a talent for creating engaging and immersive curriculum plans. Experience in working with young learners facing diverse learning challenges is advantageous. The successful candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of how these challenges impact learning dynamics and behaviour in the classroom. Specialised knowledge and practical experience with students struggling with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties would be highly beneficial. Candidates with middle leadership experience, gained in mainstream educational settings or relevant contexts, are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in the assessment, planning, and delivery of Science across KS3/KS4 is a prerequisite.
