Electrical assembler

Job Title: Electrical Fitter Location: East Kilbride, Lanarkshire Duration: Temp to Perm Rate : GBP14.09 PAYE or GBP18.47 Umbrella ( whilst temping) Hours: 7.30am -4.30pm Mon to Thurs, 7.30am -12pm Fri. Our Engineering Client is currently recruiting for a full-time temporary to permanent electrical fitter role based in East Kilbride. The following is a brief description of the duties and responsibilities pertaining to the role of Electrical Fitter and the required skills and experiences. * Assembly of electrical / mechanical products manufactured by the company. * Read and work from electrical schematic drawings and follow instructions from electrical engineers. * Fitting out control panels including drilling tapping back plates, attaching trunking and cutting out enclosures. * Wiring of electrical control panels including wire stripping, crimping, terminating and soldering wire and cable assemblies. * Basic electrical safety function testing of subassemblies. * Complete production check lists and timesheets. * Adhere to company health and safety policies and practices. * Adhere to company quality control processes and procedures. The above list is not definitive, as the employee will be expected to carry out other tasks within reason when requested by the company. Profile Skills and experience * Minimum of 5 years #39; experience in electrical panel wiring and assembly. * Qualification in an Electrical HNC or Apprenticeship preferred. * Capable of reading, interpreting and working to electrical schematics and drawings. * Our culture is energetic and enthusiastic, and you need to be a self-starter who hits the ground running and does not stop until our objectives are achieved.
