Accounts assistant part time

TeamJobs are looking for an Accounts Assistant in Bournemouth! This is a super exciting opportunity to join a leading solicitor #39;s firm on a part-time basis, reporting to the Financial Director. Your duties will include: * Maintain accounting records of all departments * Identify and process receipts and payments, including online payments * Reconciliations (using Tikit) * Accurately record all transactions * Assisting with purchase ledger, expense ledger, online posting of sales invoices, payroll and month-end accounts * Regular proactive communication with fee earners regarding payment and receipt status #39;s Ideal candidate: * Previous experience in a solicitors firm is ideal * Experience dealing with high volume transactions * AAT and/or CIMA qualifications are an advantage * Excellent working knowledge of accounting software, specifically Tikit * An understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations is an advantage Ideal working hours would be Wednesday to Friday, 9am-5pm but the company can be flexible. They will also consider a hybrid working pattern after a successful probation period
