Maintenance engineer multi skilled

About The Role Our site in Thrapston has gone through a period of rapid growth over the last 9 months and we rsquo;re now grading and packing more fruit and nuts than ever! A huge part of our success over this period is down to our dedicated Engineering Department and we rsquo;re currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Manufacturing site through the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Work on a variety of machinery such as: flow wrappers, multi-head weighers, grading vision systems, sealing machines and much more Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment, identifying and resolving any potential issues before they cause disruptions Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, diagnose the problem, and perform repairs or coordinate with external specialists when necessary Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety standards are met Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies relevant to the roleWhy not take a look around one of our Manufacturing sites? About You As well as the ability to work at pace, we #39;re also looking for someone who has: A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ L3, ONC, BTEC L3 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering) Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used within the FMCG industry Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery Proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of equipment reliability A good understanding of HACCP principlesYou rsquo;ll work as part of an experienced, committed engineering team on a Continental Shift Pattern (4 on 4 off rotating days nights).
