Assistant management accountant

Join a thriving SME construction company in Tamworth! We #39;re seeking a talented Assistant Management Accountant to join dynamic finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller. In this key role, you #39;ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company #39;s financial health and driving their continued success. What you #39;ll be doing: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports Prepare and reconcile balance sheets and other financial accounts Process supplier invoices and manage credit control procedures Support with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Assist the Finance Manager with year-end processes and audits Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial informationWhat you #39;ll bring: AAT qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years #39; experience in a similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A desire to learn and develop your accounting expertiseWhat we offer: Competitive salary of up to GBP35,000 per annum Comprehensive study support to further your accounting qualifications (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) Opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive team environment Experience in a dynamic and growing construction company To apply for the Assistant Management Accountant position, please click on the apply now button and your CV will be sent directly to the responsible recruiter.
