General operative

Location: Kidderminster Hours: Mon - Thu 07:30am - 17:00pm Fri Early Finish Pay: From GBP12.00 p/hr Contract: Temp - Perm Pertemps has an exciting opportunity for individuals keen to join a growing manufacturing team in Kidderminster. We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our client #39;s expanding operation. This role offers a Temporary to Permanent position with lots of potential and room to progress. As a General Operative you will be a part of the production process to ensure products are produced to the highest standard and exceed customers expectation. The Duties of a General Operative: - Read and interpret technical drawings to understand assembly requirements. - Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as drills, saws, and sanders. - Measure and cut materials according to specified dimensions. - Assist in the installation of fixtures. - Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment. - Adhere to strict quality control standards throughout the production process. The Requirements of a General Operative: Previous experience in manufacturing or production is preferred. Experience using a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to work effectively working to deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
