Role Details: Royal Devonport Dockyard Hybrid, Fortnightly/Monthly visits to the site Inside IR35 Negotiable Rate 12-months contractAbout the Role: The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join a Leading Nuclear Defence Business Key responsibilities include: Working closely with the design managers to ensure that engineering outcomes are achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner. Providing technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of engineering activities, identifying any issues or delays, and proposing solutions. Liaising with key stakeholders, including project managers and the supply chain, to ensure that engineering requirements are understood and met. Supporting the development of engineering processes, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Contributing to the development of risk assessments and mitigation strategies to ensure that all engineering work is conducted safely.
