Overheads manager property

Experienced Overheads Property Manager required for a large, successful retail business based at their Head Office in Plymouth. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Finance Manager, you will be involved in various day to day operations of the finance department. You will need to be well organised and proficient in dealing with the lsquo;unexpected rsquo;. You will enjoy working alongside others as part of a team. You will need to be adaptable, confident, and able to adapt with the needs of the business. Responsibilities * Ownership of all property P l Balance sheet codes to include: * Rent * Rates * Insurance * Utilities * Fixed Assets * Repairs Renewals * Monthly accruals, prepayments and other journals to support month end close * Full end to end process of Accounts payable of property invoices. * CIS * Review of Capex / repairs expenditure * Updating the FA register * Streamlining existing procedures * Analyzing P L costs variances against budget. * Annual Budgeting Skills Requirements: * Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment. * Financial qualification (AAT or equivalent) essential * Excellent communication and analytical skills * Team management * High level of accuracy / organisational skills * IT literate with intermediate / advanced Excel skills What we offer: * Recognised and accredited accounting qualification * Pension * Long service awards * Employee discount * Cycle to work scheme * Flexible and Hybrid working If you are currently seeking a new challenge and feel you would be a good fit, then please submit an up to date CV by using the lsquo;apply rsquo; button below.
