Quality assurance director

Founded over 150 years ago, our client is a leading name in the manufacturing of non-sterile solid and liquid dosage manufacturing. This global company is impacting lives daily with the reliable and high quality manufacture of medicines ranging from Oral Pain Relief to Analgesics and much more. Based from their UK HQ near Manchester, our client is seeking a leading QA Director / QP as part of their continued expansion. This role reports directly into the UK Managing Director supporting all senior level Quality Assurance strategic decision making. Main Duties * Manage the QA function across all areas of the business, ensuring compliance is maintained in line with the businesses strategy * Provide assistance to all functions within the organisation on technical and regulatory matters to ensure the business is kept up to date * Lead and Develop the internal Quality Assurance team in support of the business directives * Perform QP duties under MHRA regulations * Act as main point of contact for UK MHRA and UK Home Office Departments in support of business strategy * Promote and Adhere to EHS regulations to ensure company wellbeing and wellbeing of employees, contractors and visitors in compliance with all legislative requirements * Batch release What kind of person are we looking for? Our client is looking for a team player and strategic thinker to join the company in this senior leadership role. Must be comfortable leading teams of 5 or more people.
